I-Move Traffic Alert: Ramp closures at the I-71/I-265 interchange

Ongoing work to widen Interstate 71 and I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) as part of the I-Move Kentucky project will require major overnight ramp closures tonight, July 26, for paving.

The following ramp closures will be in effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. Wednesday:

  • Ramp from I-265 North to I-71 South
  • Ramp from I-265 South to I-71 South
  • Ramp from I-71 South to I-265 South

Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events. Drivers should be cautious when traveling through active work zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
