I-Move Traffic Alert: Gene Snyder Lane Closure Tonight
Construction on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will require an overnight lane closure Tuesday, Aug. 2. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.
Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, I-265 South will be reduced to one lane from I-64 (Exit 25) to KY 155/Taylorsville Road (Taylorsville/Jeffersontown, Exit 23) for paving. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.
Motorists may encounter delays during this time and should be cautious when traveling through active construction areas. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
