I-Move Traffic Alert: Ramp and Lane Closures on I-64 and I-265 on Monday

Ramp and lane closures will be in place as crews work on I-64 and I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) starting Monday, June 17. This work is a part of the I-Move Kentucky project.  

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Monday, the contractor will close the right lane at I-265 South over Shelbyville Road (Exit 27). This will also include the closure of the ramps to both I-64 West (Exit 25B) and I-64 East (Exit 25A). These closures will be in place until midnight.  

The detour will have drivers continue on I-265 South and turn around at the KY 155/Taylorsville Road exit (Exit 23). Drivers will then need to get back on I-265 North in order to exit towards I-64 East Lexington or I-64 West Louisville.   

Work may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events. 

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
