I-Move Traffic Alert: Weekend Lane Closure on I-265

Due to weather, paving has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Surface paving on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will require a lane closure beginning Friday, July 15. The construction is part of the I-Move KY project.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, I-265 North between KY 155/Taylorsville Road (Exit 23) and I-64 (Exit 25) will be reduced to one lane for surface paving. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Sunday, July 17.

Motorists may encounter delays during this time and should use caution when driving through work zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers to construction and lane closures.
