I-Move Traffic Alert: I-265 Ramp Closure Tonight, Pothole Patching Tuesday

Work on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will require an overnight ramp closure Monday night and lane closures throughout the day Tuesday. The work is part of the I-Move KY project.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, May 23, the ramp from I-265 South to KY 155/Taylorsville Road at Exit 23 (Taylorsville/Jeffersontown) will be closed to traffic to allow for restriping. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, a contractor will also be filling potholes throughout the project area. Most of the work will be along I-265 North and South between U.S. 60/Shelbyville Road (Exit 27) and Old Henry Road (Exit 29). Lane closures will be in effect.

Drivers may encounter traffic delays during this time and should be cautious when traveling through active construction areas. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
