I-Move Traffic Alert: Overnight Lane Closures on I-71 and Gene Snyder

Lane closures will be in effect on Interstate 71 and Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) tonight as a contractor continues work to move and relocate temporary barrier walls. The work is part of the I-Move KY project.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on I-71 South between Moser Farm Road near mile marker 12 and I-265 beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, June 24, until 6 a.m. Saturday.

Traffic will also be reduced to one lane on I-265 North between Old Henry Road (Exit 29) and KY 146/La Grange Road (Exit 30) during this same timeframe.

Motorists may encounter delays during this time and should be cautious when driving through construction zones.
