I-Move Traffic Alert: Gene Snyder Lane Closures This Weekend

Construction on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will require lane closures starting Friday, July 29. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, I-265 North will be reduced to one lane between Aiken Road near mile maker 28 and Old Henry Road (Exit 29) for a concrete pour. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Saturday, July 30.

Also beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, I-265 South will be reduced to one lane from I-64 (Exit 25) to KY 155/Taylorsville Road (Taylorsville/Jeffersontown, Exit 23) for paving. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Monday, August 1.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers may encounter delays during this time and should use caution when traveling through active construction areas. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
