I-Move Traffic Alert: Blasting on I-71 Tomorrow

Blasting along Interstate 71 will take place Wednesday, June 14, as part of the I-Move Kentucky project to expand I-71 to six lanes.

Blasting work will occur at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday along I-71 between Moser Farm Road near mile marker 12 and KY 329 (Exit 14). Rolling traffic stoppages will be in effect for both southbound and northbound I-71 to ensure the safety of workers and drivers. The roadway will reopen to traffic within 15 minutes unless debris cleanup is necessary.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones.
