I-Move Traffic Alert: Lane Closure on Gene Snyder Tonight

Guardrail maintenance on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will require a lane closure starting tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 2. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, the left lane of I-265 South will be closed from KY 146/La Grange Road (Exit 30) to the Avoca Quarry Road bridge near mile marker 28. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
