I-Move Week Ahead: Overnight Lane and Ramp Closures on I-71 Start Sunday

Work on the I-Move Kentucky project will require multiple overnight lane and ramp closures starting Sunday, Nov. 5, through the morning of Thursday, Nov. 9.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Sunday, Nov. 5

Beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday, the ramp from I-71 North to KY 329 (Exit 14) at Crestwood will be closed for guardrail work.

The ramp will reopen at 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6.

Monday, Nov. 6

Beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, I-71 North will be reduced to one lane for restriping between the Gene Snyder (Exit 9) and the northbound rest area near mile marker 13.

The lane closure will be in place until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Also from 8 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday, the ramp from I-71 North to KY 329 (Exit 14) will be closed again for additional guardrail work.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

Beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, I-71 North and South will be reduced to one lane over Moser Farm Road near mile marker 12 for bridge work.

The closures will last until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

From 8 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday, the ramp from I-71 North to KY 329 (Exit 14) will be closed for more guardrail work.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
