I-Move Week Ahead: Lane and Ramp Closures on I-265, I-71 and I-64 Starting Tonight

Lane and ramp closures on I-265, I-71, and I-64 will be in place starting tonight, Monday, Sept. 30. This work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project. 

Monday, Sept. 30 

  • Beginning at 8 p.m., I-265 northbound will be reduced to one lane at I-71 for bridge maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Tuesday at 6 a.m. The same closure will be in place nightly starting Monday, Sept. 30 through Thursday, Oct. 3. 
  • At 8 p.m., I-265 southbound from Brownsboro Road to I-64 will be reduced to one lane for roadside maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Tuesday at 6 a.m.  

Tuesday, Oct. 1 

  • Beginning at 8 p.m., I-265 northbound from Brownsboro Road to I-64 will be reduced to one lane for roadside maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Wednesday at 6 a.m. 

Wednesday, Oct. 2 

  • Beginning at 8 p.m., the I-265 northbound to I-71 southbound (Exit 35B) ramp will be closed for bridge maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m.  
  • At 8 p.m., I-265 southbound from Brownsboro Road to I-64 will be reduced to one lane for roadside maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m. 
  • At 8 p.m., the beginning of the ramp from I-64 eastbound to I-265 southbound and I-265 northbound will be reduced to one lane for roadside sign installation work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m.  

Thursday, Oct. 3 

  • Beginning at 8 p.m., the I-265 northbound to I-71 southbound ramp (Exit 35B) will be closed for bridge maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Friday at 6 a.m. 

Friday, Oct. 4 

  • Beginning at 8 p.m., I-265 northbound will be reduced to one lane south of I-64 to Shelbyville Road for permanent barrier wall installation work. This closure will be in place until Monday morning at 6 a.m.  

Work may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events. Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones.
