I-Move Week Ahead: Additional Lane and Ramp Closures on I-265, I-71 and I-64 Starting Tonight
Lane and ramp closures on I-265, I-71, and I-64 will be in place starting tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 2. New closures have been added in bold. This work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.
Wednesday, Oct. 2
- Beginning at 8 p.m., the La Grange Road ramp to I-265 northbound (Exit 30) will be closed for bridge maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m.
- At 8 p.m., the I-265 northbound to I-71 southbound (Exit 35B) ramp will be closed for bridge maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m.
- At 8 p.m., I-265 southbound from Brownsboro Road (Exit 34) headed towards the I-64/I-265 interchange will be reduced to one lane for roadside maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m.
- At 8 p.m., the beginning of the ramp from I-64 eastbound to I-265 southbound and I-265 northbound will be reduced to one lane for roadside sign installation work. This closure will be in place until Thursday at 6 a.m.
Thursday, Oct. 3
- Beginning at 8 p.m., the I-265 northbound to I-71 southbound ramp (Exit 35B) will be closed for bridge maintenance work. This closure will be in place until Friday at 6 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 4
- Beginning at 8 p.m., the ramp from I-64 westbound to Blankenbaker Parkway (Exit 17) will be closed for asphalt paving work. This closure will be in place until Monday at 6 a.m.
- At 8 p.m., I-265 northbound will be reduced to one lane south of I-64 to Shelbyville Road for permanent barrier wall installation work. This closure will be in place until Monday morning at 6 a.m.
Work may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events. Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones.
