I-Move Traffic Alert: Overnight Lane Closure on I-71; Paving Continues on Brownsboro Road

An overnight lane closure will be in effect on Interstate 71 tonight and crews will continue paving operations on a new bridge as part of the I-Move KY project.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on I-71 South between KY 329 (Exit 14, Crestwood/Pewee Valley) and I-265 beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, June 23, until 6 a.m. Friday. The lane closure will allow crews to complete the relocation of a temporary barrier wall.

The KY 1694/Brownsboro Road bridge over I-71 will continue to be reduced to a single lane for final paving of the bridge approaches. Paving operations are scheduled for completion by 6 a.m. Friday, June 24.

Motorists may encounter delays during this time and should be cautious when driving through construction zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert motorists to construction.
