I-Move Traffic Alert: I-265 Traffic Shift Tonight; Lane Closure on I-71

Rolling lane closures on Interstate 71 and lane shifts on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will take place tonight as part of the I-Move KY project.

From 8 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. Wednesday, the right lane of I-71 South will be closed between KY 329 (Exit 14, Crestwood/Pewee Valley) and I-265 to allow for the removal and relocation of a temporary barrier wall.

Also beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, traffic on I-265 North will be shifted to the right from Old Henry Road (Exit 29) to KY 146/La Grange Road (Exit 30).

Drivers may encounter delays during this time and should use caution when driving through construction zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction areas.
