Bridge work on Interstate 71 will require a daily road closure starting today September 6, 2022 lasting through the end of September. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, Moser Farm Road under I-71 will be closed while a crew works to expand the existing northbound and southbound bridges. The daily closures are expected to last until the end of September.
The expanded bridges will support the new travel lanes on I-71 between I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) and KY 329 (Crestwood/Pewee Valley).
Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.
Drivers should be cautious when traveling through active work zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
I-265 Shoulder work
Shoulder work will continue this week on I-265 northbound and southbound from LaGrange Road to Westport Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The right lane will be closed in both directions.
