I-Move Traffic Alert: Pothole Patching on Gene Snyder Friday Night

Pothole patching on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) will require overnight lane closures starting Friday, Oct. 7. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, I-265 North and South will each be reduced to one lane between Shelbyville Road (Exit 27) and Old Henry Road (Exit 29) for pothole patching. The closures will last until 6 a.m. Saturday.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
