I-Move Traffic Alert: Tonight’s Lane Closures on Gene Snyder Rescheduled

UPDATE: Friday’s overnight lane closures have been canceled. The work will be rescheduled at a later date.

Overnight lane closures on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) originally scheduled for today, Wednesday, April 5, have been rescheduled for later this week because of the weather. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.

From 8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, to 6 a.m. Friday, April 7, crews will be restriping I-265 North and South from KY 146/La Grange Road (Exit 30) to Westport Road (Exit 32). Closures will be in place that will require traffic to switch lanes between Exit 30 and Exit 32.

The same work will occur from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. Drivers should stay alert and follow directions as posted.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Remember to use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
