Lane and ramp closures scheduled to start tonight on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) have been postponed until tomorrow, Tuesday, June 20, due to weather. The work is part of the I-Move Kentucky project.
Beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, the ramp from I-265 North to I-64 East (Exit 25A) will be closed to remove guardrail and perform restriping.
The ramp from I-64 West to I-265 North (Exit 19B) will also be closed at this time to remove light poles and guardrail.
Also during this time, the left lane of I-265 South will be closed near I-64 to shift traffic toward the median wall.
All closures will end by 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 21.
Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.
Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
