I-Move Traffic Alert: Overnight Lane Closures on I-265 Tonight

A beam setting for the I-Move Kentucky project will require overnight lane closures on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) tonight, Tuesday, July 11.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, I-265 North and South will be reduced to one lane just south of the Old Henry Road exit (Exit 29). The closure will allow crews to set beams for the Avoca Road bridge. The closures will last until 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 12.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
