I-Move Traffic Alert: Ramp Closures at the I-64/I-265 Interchange Tomorrow

Work on the I-Move Kentucky project will require two ramp closures at the Interstate 64/I-265 interchange tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 6.

From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, the following ramps will be closed:

  • Ramp from I-265 South to I-64 East (Exit 25A)
  • Ramp from I-64 West to I-265 South (Exit 19A)

The closure will allow crews to set the beams on the bridge south of I-64.

The detour for both ramp closures will be to take I-64 West to Blankenbaker Parkway (Exit 17) and then follow signs to I-64 East.

During the ramp closures, drivers will still be able to use the far-left lane of I-265 South starting at Shelbyville Road. Drivers taking the ramp from Shelbyville Road to I-265 South will need to detour to I-64 West, then Blankenbaker Parkway and follow signs to I-64 East.

Work may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through active work zones. Signage will be in place to alert drivers of active construction zones and closures.
