I-Move Traffic Alert: Lane Closures on Gene Snyder Start Tonight

Temporary barrier wall relocation will require overnight lane closures on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) starting Wednesday, Aug. 10, as part of the I-Move Kentucky project.

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, the inside lanes of I-265 North and South will be closed between I-64 (Exit 25) and KY 146/La Grange Road (Exit 30) to allow a contractor to relocate the temporary barrier wall. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11.

The same closures will be in place from 8 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday and from 8 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.

Drivers should be cautious when traveling through active work zones. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.
