Starting at 8 p.m. Monday and continuing until 6 a.m. Tuesday, I-71 northbound will be reduced to one lane from Chamberlain Lane at mile point 9.8 to Brownsboro Road at mile point 10.3 to install a temporary barrier wall.

Work schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen delays. Drivers should be cautious when traveling through active construction areas. Signage and flaggers will be in place to alert drivers of lane closures and construction zones.

Starting at 8 p.m. Friday and continuing until mid-morning Saturday, work on temporary barrier walls will require lane closures on I-71 northbound and I-265. I-71 northbound will be reduced to one lane between the Springdale Road bridge near mile point 8.7 and the overpass for I-265 at mile point 9.1. Additionally, I-265 northbound and southbound will be reduced to one lane from the I-64 interchange at mile point 25.4 to Shelbyville Road at mile point 26.8.’

Starting at 7 p.m. Sunday and continuing until 6 a.m. Monday, I-71 northbound will be reduced to one lane from Chamberlain Lane at mile point 9.8 to Brownsboro Road at mile point 10.3 to install a temporary barrier wall.

Starting at noon Saturday and continuing until 6 a.m. Monday, paving on I-71 northbound will require traffic to be reduced to one lane from past Moser Farm Road near mile point 12 to Highway 329 near mile point 14. The rest area on I-71 northbound near mile point 13 will be closed while paving operations are underway in that area.

Lanes will be shifted for ongoing work to improve safety and mobility by rebuilding the I-64/I-265 interchange.

Looking ahead to the weekend, paving and milling operations on a two-mile stretch of I-71 northbound will require traffic to be reduced to one lane from Saturday at 12 a.m. to Monday at 6 a.m. Lane closures will start north of Chamberlain Lane near mile marker 9.8 on I-71 northbound and end near Moser Farm Road at mile marker 11.8.
